Trademark means that a mark, sign or symbol graphically represented is use by any business to distinguish their goods and services from others.....

Trade Mark is define under section 2(1)(zb) of Trade Mark Act, 1999, which means that a mark, sign or symbol graphically represented is use by any business to distinguish their goods and services from others. By registering the Trade mark they can protect and safeguard their goodwill to be used by others and it also hels their consumers to recognize the brand they trust. Trademark cab be a Word, Sing, Symbol, series of words, Shape of goods, Packaging, or combnations of colour and the owner can be an individual, business organization, or any legal entity. The validty of trade mark is 10 years from the date of application and can be renewed easily by paying the Government fee for registration.
